These terms apply to your use of the Alpine Brook Harbor website at alpinebrookharbor.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What this website is

Alpine Brook Harbor is a senior living community in the planning stage. This website describes our intentions: styles of home, shared spaces, activities and the kind of support we would like to arrange. It is provided for general information only.

2. No offer, no contract, no reservation

Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, lease or provide housing, care or any other service, or an invitation to make one. No home or service can be bought, booked or reserved through the site. Sending an enquiry does not create a contract, a reservation, a place on a waiting list or any obligation on either side. Any future agreement would be made separately, in writing, after the explanation that Japanese law requires.

3. Accuracy and illustrations

We try to keep the content accurate, but because the project is still being planned, descriptions of homes, spaces, activities and support may change or may never be realised. Pictures are illustrations of ideas and are not photographs of buildings or people at a finished community. Prices, availability, dates and floor areas are not published, and nothing on the site should be read as a statement about them.

4. Not advice

The information is not medical, nursing, legal, tax, financial or investment advice. Please consult a doctor, a lawyer (弁護士), a tax accountant (税理士) or another suitably licensed person about decisions that affect your health, your money or your rights. See also the Disclaimer.

5. Enquiries

You are welcome to send a general question through the enquiry form. Please give accurate contact details, and do not send other people's personal information without their permission. How we handle your information is described in the Privacy Policy. The form uses the third-party relay formsubmit.co, and we cannot control or guarantee that service.

6. Intellectual property

The text, layout and images on this site belong to Alpine Brook Harbor or to the persons who license them to us. You may view the pages, and print or save a copy for your own personal use. You may not copy, republish, sell or adapt the content for other purposes without our written permission.

7. Acceptable use

When using the site you must not attempt to disrupt it or to gain unauthorised access to it, send harmful code, submit false or abusive enquiries, or use it in a way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others. We may block access that appears to do so.

8. Links to other sites

Some links lead to sites we do not run, such as Google Maps. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of information. Using them is subject to their own terms.

9. Limits of our responsibility

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on the content or from the site being unavailable or containing errors. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for our intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or any right you have under consumer protection law.

We may change the website or these terms at any time. The version on this page, with the date shown above, is the current one. Continued use after a change means you accept the changed terms.

11. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. For any dispute about them or about use of this website, the Yamagata District Court or the Yamagata Summary Court, according to the amount at issue, has jurisdiction in the first instance, without affecting any mandatory right you may have to bring a claim elsewhere.
