This policy explains what personal information Alpine Brook Harbor handles through this website, why, and what you can ask of us. Alpine Brook Harbor is a senior living community in the planning stage. The website is informational and contains one way of sending us personal information: the enquiry form on the Contact page.
1. Who is responsible

No individual is named on this site as the person in charge of personal information. If you need that name for a request, ask us in writing and we will give it to you in reply.
2. What we receive
When you send the enquiry form we receive the details you type into it: your name, your email address, a telephone number if you choose to give one, the topic you select and the text of your message. We receive nothing about you that you do not enter yourself, apart from what your browser sends when the form is submitted.
The web host that serves this site may keep ordinary access logs (for example the IP address, the time and the pages requested). We do not run analytics tools or advertising tags on this site, and we do not use the logs to identify visitors.
3. Why we use it
- to read your message and reply to it;
- to keep a record of what was asked and answered, so that we do not give inconsistent answers later;
- to see which questions come up often, so that we can improve what we write on this site.
We do not send newsletters or promotional mail, and we will not use your address for anything beyond a reply to you unless you ask us to.
4. How the form works, and who else sees your message
The form does not send mail from your own device. It posts your message to formsubmit.co, a third-party form relay run by an operator we do not control, which forwards it as an email to our mailbox at info@alpinebrookharbor.com. Your message therefore passes through that service and through the email systems between it and us.
formsubmit.co may be located outside Japan, and we have not verified where it processes data or how that country protects personal information. By pressing the send button you consent to your information being provided to that service for this purpose. If you are not comfortable with this, write to us by email or call instead.
5. Sharing with others
We do not sell personal information, and we do not provide it to advertisers or other companies for their own use. We may disclose it where the law requires, for example in response to a lawful request from an authority, and to service providers that help us run the mailbox and the website, to the extent necessary for that work.
6. Cookies, storage and external requests
This website sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser's local or session storage, and loads no external fonts, scripts or trackers. Pages request only files from this site. Links to Google Maps open that service in a new tab only when you click them; its own policies then apply. Details are on the Cookie Policy page.
7. Please keep sensitive details out of the form
Do not send diagnoses, details of care needs, bank or card numbers, or identity numbers through the form. The form is meant for general questions about our plans. If we need further details to answer you, we will say so and suggest a suitable way.
8. How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and to follow up on what was discussed. We have not set a fixed deletion date. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will delete what we hold, subject to anything the law requires us to keep.
9. Keeping it safe
We take reasonable care of access to our mailbox. Email and web forms cannot be guaranteed confidential, because a message crosses several systems that we do not control. That is another reason to keep the content of your message general.
10. Your rights
Under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information you may ask us to tell you what personal information of yours we hold, to correct it if it is wrong, and to stop using or to delete it in the cases the Act allows. Please make the request by email or letter to the address in section 1, say which information you mean, and tell us how to reach you. We may ask for details that let us match the request to your enquiry. We will answer without undue delay.
11. Children
This website is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its date. If a change is significant, we will say so at the top of the page.
